Had a perfect day today.

Nice long lie followed by family brunch, then it was off to East Kilbride to take Carlos' dad out for the afternoon. We went on the new M74 which made the journey so simple. Had a nice coffee and cake and wee autumnal stroll at Calderglen Country Park. I hadn't been for years and Carlos had never been but Pepe remembered it well as he used to work at the golf course there. It was a lovely afternoon and so nice to see Carlos and his dad share a nice afternoon.

Carlos was in charge of cooking today but instead of the planned roast we had a Burger King on the way home which was a fun treat.

Had a nice snuggle with the kids to watch ice age 3 when we got home and now it's tea and biccies with the reality results shows.

Perfect.
