Reflection
Had a rough night - a bad earache and just couldn't get comfortable to settle down. Charlotte kept getting up with a tummy ache too & Glen had to get up at 2.30am to do an hour's work, so we all ended up sleeping in and missed going to the Rememebrance parade. We watched the service on the television though which was very moving. After a slow start to the morning, we all felt a lot better and decided to venture out to make the most of such a glorious day.
We went to Alexandra park in Hastings with our Old English Sheepdog - Mab. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour outing. It was lovely walking through the park in the warm sun, feeding the ducks & seagulls and taking photos galore. We laso stopped the cafe and had a very nice light lunch. The highlight was definitely seeing a heron which is today's blip. It's not as clear as I'd like but I still like the shot. I was really pleased with some other images too and for other photos of the walk, you can see here if you'd like.
It's been a truly lovely weekend!
