Pilgrim? - Youlgreave Church

Leaving Sheffield under low cloud we headed for Bakewell and got tangled up in the Remembrance Sunday parade when we got there.
Setting off at 10:30 with the group we walked to Over Haddon in a light mist to find the "Leg it Round Lathkill" Cross-Country race starting with over 500 runners just as the mist was clearing. We crossed the clapper bridge over the dried up Lathkill and on to lunch at Youlgreave where I found this possible pilgrim incised into the wall of the church and then back to Bakewell in sunshine via the wonderful fishponds on the Lathkill at the bottom of Coalpit Lane.
