A moment,
in which I can breathe.
An exhalation of pure existence.
I can't but close my eyes
and shed all there is of me.

My heartbeat,
slowly beating rapids.
An inhalation of life unnerving.
Knowing it can't touch me,
I yearn to set it free.

And I am gone...
