Lem's Cameo

All is quiet apart from the chirping of the birds, the sky is vibrant blue with a few small puffy white clouds to the east. I watch the light flicker through my garden on the gentle morning breeze, lighting dark corners and making flowers glow, I savour every minute before my day begins.

The sun shone and the breeze remained gentle throughout the day, the washing dried while I continued to sort through more boxes. I had intended to bake but the day got away on me, perhaps later tonight I'll get the chance to fill those biscuit tins.

I'll leave you with my last rhododendron to bloom, Lem's Cameo - always a stunner just out from my lounge, the gentle breeze played tricks with me and the main stamen is not in focus - it does annoy me, but I couldn't resist the light :)
