Something special
Two days ago we were treated to a potpourri of weather conditions, all within 24 hours: rain, sleet, high winds, snow, and to top it off, thunder and lightning. The result? Most deciduous trees are now dressed (or undressed) in their wintry, leafless, finery. These strikingly handsome trees at the entrance to the Arboretum are a colorful exception. Aren't they spectacular? The winds and rain on Thursday blew in a major change of weather, followed by a dismal day yesterday. Then this morning dawned sunny and clear...a superb day from start to finish. Not a bit like November as we expect it here in northeast Ohio.
