Morning rose

It rained heavily in the night but this morning everything was bright and fresh. I didn't know if it would last so took the camera into the garden and really liked the way the sun was shining through this rose's petals.
We were busy at an open day in the community centre in the morning, telling folk about the church extension and various things but there was still time for a short walk across the river this afternoon.
This picture of the late sun on the fields was the other contender for a blip today.
