Looking for Ghosts

Ghost hunters frequent the Nunica Cemetery, established in 1883, due to many reports of paranormal activity. The West Michigan Ghost Hunters Society (yes, there is one :) consider this site to be one of the most haunted cemeteries in Michigan.

So on a fine sunny afternoon, what better thing could two photographers who enjoy visiting graveyards do than take a short ride to Nunica?

Besides just generally poking around, I had an additional assignment, inspired by John R Smith last summer: Gravestone Photographic Resource Project. My packet arrived last week.

This particular gravestone will not be useful for that project because the information is not complete. But I liked the way the stone makes you do the math for the birth date.

No ghosts were encountered during our visit :)
