St Ives

Today we went to St Ives........on THE TRAIN! I had my first trip on a train, it was brilliant!

I jumped on the train when it arrived and sat on the floor in the aisle beside mum and daddy. I sat swaying from side to side with the movement on the train, it was GREAT! Then....... I decided that I wanted to sit up with daddy so I got up on the seat beside him and watched the world go by! And OH WOW what a world it was, it was the SEA! And BEACHES! I was soooo excited and wanted to jump out the window *giggle*

When we got to St Ives mum and daddy said they needed coffee and cake so we went to "the Balcony" I was VERY proud. Apparently this is a very cool place to go in St Ives. Molly the Gorgeous Collie goes there.

I sat in the window at the balcony and gazed out longingly at the harbour beach and sea........

Then went "shopping" I actually don't mind shopping. Mum wanted a nice pair of gloves and hat but the thing is mum is quite fussy and it took a while. I was allowed in quite a few of the shops, I sat at mum's feet with daddy and we waited patiently for mum to decide! I wasn't allowed to go into Cath Kidston though as I might have gotten carried away and spent too much ;-)

Then we visited Ann at St Ives Holidays where she works. Ann is Molly the Gorgeous Collie's owner, so we popped in and arranged a play date for Molly and I. I was a little bit famous in St Ives Holidays, there are a few other blippers there and I was blipped by Squiffy by the sea! I rolled over on my back for everyone to give me a tummy tickle! I LOVE being famous :-)

After mum and daddy had lunch (yet again I had to lie under the table in a pub!) I then got my turn! I had a big play on Porthminster Beach! It was great, the waves were quite rough and I flung myself in LOADS! I love surfing big waves!

We got the train back then (I wasn't allowed on the seat because I was wet and sandy!) but I sat and swayed along with the movement of the train :-)

After a big snooze mum took me for a run on the beach at Sennen at dusk. We were the only ones there. It was LUSH :-)

Now I am off for a snooze by the woodburner.
