This morning I was told I would 'get battered' (hit).
I challenged this with relish (having a cold can put me in a bad mood).
Only to be told he had changed his mind and that I was too good looking to be battered(!)

Who are these people?

PS This was a random stranger out of his face and not someone I know and its the job I do
