Winter vegetables

Our friend Charbel grows the most beautiful pumpkins, squashes and marrows, all on display at this time of year at the farmers' market. I can't help taking pictures of them, they are so beautifully coloured and speckled, dimpled, scarred and bulbous. Fabulous creatures.
