WELL, THAT WAS AMAZING EARLY
at the beach! Mischa and I we started in the dark cycling to the sea. Her 365th blip to-day a special occasio, so we had to defy the cold. A golden sun came over the dunes to shine and above the water a bright moon shone too.
We looked at the gulls swaying above the sea, walked towards the Zandmotor.
We saw Piet Hein in the distance walking towards us and thanks to him we had this incredible sight of the seal so near the shore. Actually Harry (Mischa baptised the seal, male or female) had lied on the sand and slipped into the sea as Piet Hein came near.
My hands were nearly frozen after some time and our bones became very cold too. But what big surprise had awaited us and our conclusion of course: to-morrow we will go still earlier, to enjoy the blue hour and hopefully will see the seal again.
My picture shows a man cycling at the beach, dog running behind.
My haiku:
Is it lady-like
Enough not at all to worry
Leave the feather hat home
A bit surprised myself by these lines, sometimes however words start and do not really want to go away and then I simply follow.
And the Yiddish proverb:
When the heart is full, the eyes overflow.
