Clevedon A and P Show

I love the A and P show. A place for us townies to see how the rural folk do stuff. Get the reality of the situation, like being pee'd on by a goat (lucky for the Youngest, she's still mortified about it hilarity not welcomed)

The weather wasn't the best, so there was many a dash for cover, but they still had pony rides, and fair ground rides, plus we watched some of the livestock events.

The Youngest had a Kokako painted on her face by the NZ Forest and Bird society lot, they were doing it for free. The woman was very talented who was doing it, she's their vice chairperson.

Seeing as it is electioneering time, I was expecting a few of the local candidates there, the only ones present were from the Act party, and we gave them and their right wing twaddle a Very Wide Berth.
