Pink Poppies

When we first came here there was no garden, the house hadn't been lived in since the last of three old brothers died. I've asked neighbours, and there was nothing grown apart from from tatties and neeps (potatoes and turnips) for as long as anyone can remember.

Don't know where these came from, but I have lots of them in my garden, so they must have been given to me by some kind friend in the past. One of the joys of gardening is swapping plants, cuttings, seedlings with other folk. Luckily I've got friends with super gardens so I've done pretty well out of it!

Thanks for all the positive comments about yesterday's socks! A cottage industry may be about to be born . . . . . . !
