A few of my favourite things

I looked out one of my memory boxes this evening and had a great time browsing through old birthday cards, letters from pen pals, some photos and souvenirs of the years gone by. It was lovely to read my granny Bain's handwriting again and the funny little notes she used to write in cards.

I went on a Wednesday club holiday to Holland when I was 12. A secret admirer had these miniature clogs made for me and put them in my rucksack on the coach trip home! I'm glad I hoard special things like this as it gives hours and hours and hours of quality reminiscence time in years to come.
