It is friday but for something different!

No Jazz sketching this week! I am in Edinburgh as my mother in law (sheilwill's mother) needed some help to go for her eye cateract operation. It was very successfull and her eyesight has had a new lease of life. So this is a flashback from a trip to Svalbard in 2008 and is of Tony Brown, a fellow blipper, braving the sub zero temperatures. It was a great trip in which the highlight was watching a polar bear for about 3 hours and even sketching it. Quite safe , we were on a yacht!! Even in these spectacular areas of the world I am drawn to sketching people. This sketch came to mind as there is a current BBC series by David Attenborough on the "Frozen Plant" and it is quite awesome.
