Warmington Mill

The walk today covered what we call the Golden Triangle - a 6-mile trek between the villages of Elton, Warmington and Fotheringhay in Northamptonshire. This is Warmington Mill and mill pond and it was a working mill right up until the 19th century. Now it's a showroom for Aga as well as other up-market kitchen and bathroom ware. It was a damp morning with a light breeze which ruffled our hair as we stood for two minutes silence at 11am on the approach to Fotheringhay. A most enjoyable morning which finished with excellent bar snacks at the Crown in Elton.

For the record: 9C max, damp with some mist early on and a light breeze. Still very mild for the time of year and my plants are still blooming on the patio.
