The eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year, now that doesn't happen very often. Was thinking about my grandfather and all of the horrors he had seen, and endured, but would never talk about - what better tribute...

Update:

It just occurred to me (5:15pm) that the last time this particular coincidence of figures happened it would have had none of the significance for my grandfather that it has for us today. He would have had no idea what lay in store for the world, or himself, just a few short years later.
