Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi

well, the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition is certainly providing lots of blip fodder!

i'd hoped to walk further around to take some shots of a few other favourite sculptures, but unfortunately i took mega-furbeast with me and she was a cooking collie! so, we turned around at the start of the coastal path.

however, i thought since i've blipped some individual sculptures and have only blipped a general shot of the end of the trail at Tamarama i may as well post an impression of the start of the trail at Bondi. So here we have it.

now, can you spot yesterday's skeleton? it's up on the hill, just left of centre.

the tap also seemed to be a favourite from a few days ago - it's just out of shot on the end of the peninsula.

another favourite which you might be able to see if you zoom in, is the huge red nail, cracked into the rock by the shore. so much fun.

anyhow, another lovely sunny and hot day here. i even purchased another wetsuit which due to my hobbit size was another boy's aged 16 bargain! absolutely stoked to be cosy as pie, out in the surf in november in a 2/1 (2 and 1mm thickness) shortie. back home i'd be in a hood, booties and gloves and a 5/3! also had one of those moments where i realised i was in the line up with boys of about 8 years old who could totally rip! if you ski..it's that same feeling as being overtaken on the piste by a wee toot who probably can't walk yet. lucky, lucky, lucky kids!! love it.

oh, and, my days of a beach bum will soon be over as i start a very shiny job in Sydney city centre a week on Monday...
