A potent symbol of oppression, and or a sensible security material to keep the baddies out.It always make's me shiver at the capacity to invent tools that cause injury, the look of Barbed wire and it's even more sinister spawn Razor wire I have always found unsettling.Perhaps as a dewy eyed old Socialist I read to much into these things????.
