This is my lovely wife finishing off a cake.

I was helping to bundle our two kids to school & nursery this morning when she piped up "Happy Anniversary" from the top of the stairs. Of course, I had totally forgotten: arrgh! And it was our 10th wedding anniversary: double arrgh!

How can someone who forgets where she last put down her mug is able to remember every significant date in our marriage? One of my female colleagues at work simply said this was a woman-thing. Fortunately the lock to our house was not subsequently changed and I was able to come home at a reasonable hour to help eat the anniversary cake.

I also realised she was one of my first models, back when I was shooting with a beat up Olympus OM-4 and thinking colour film was over-rated. So I've graced my personal site with one of the first picture I took of her. Hmm, maybe colour is over-rated...
