Ten to Three

While at Cambridge University, Brooke moved out of the city and lived at The Old Vicarage in Grantchester. Later, when homesick in Berlin, Brooke recalled his time there and wrote the acclaimed poem: The Old Vicarage, Grantchester, which ends with the old rhyme:

Stands the Church clock at ten to three?
And is there honey still for tea?

By Rupert Brooke

Okay, so this is the clock on Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, rather than the Church clock at Granchester, but you get the idea.

It was another Addenbrookes day today and one of the good things about that, apart from the fact that they look after Mr A, is that we get to have lunch in John Lewis. Before we came home we had a look in the camera shop at bags and lenses.

It was not until I downloaded the few pictures I took today on my point and press, that I noticed the time on the clock!
