Shipment of statues

I went back to Blackbrook Antiques today.

This was my previous blip visit

It was a hotch potch of interesting oddities, haphazardly arranged. Quite surreal and totally fascinating. There were historical snooker tables priced in thousands, and the remains of many a stately home or church sale. It probably didn't make much money.

It changed hands in March and this was my first opportunity to check it out. Some of the style is still there - and there were some odd pieces

but much of the new stuff was modern and aimed at the interior decoration market.

The statuary was still fascinating - but so much looked regimented, like this shipment of small garden statues, lined up like slaves in a ship's hold.
