Bear Meadows Lodge

We finally decided to get away for the night. We haven't gone away for over three years. Ever since we adopted our first pup we just haven't gone away. Then we started fostering and adopted another dog and so on and so forth. Finally, we decided to just do it. I made reservations and the same day I set them my dad comes over and says he is having surgery on his hands. Yes you guessed it the same day we are going away. I call the Lodge and change the date. Thankfully they were very accommodating and totally understood. The lodge was small but the room was beautiful. It started snowing on the way up but didn't seem to be sticking. As the night went on we ended up with a 1/2" of snow thankfully no more. It was just enough to make it look pretty :D
