C is for Chocolate

Thanks to Goatee Booknerd for giving me an idea on how to continue my gratitude blip challenge. Instead of spelling "thank you", I will spell "thank you very much" ;-)

C is for Chocolate. The good stuff. 72%dark. With or without nuts, orange pieces, cherries, or peppermint. Green and Black, for example, or professional E. Guitard that I use for making chocolate truffles. I almost started a chocolate confections company with a friend back in Michigan. We were going to call it Mimi Lowrent chocolates. Mimi, because we were both in Michigan, and Lowrent because we intended to start out by making them in her kitchen :-). I miss my Mimi partner very, very much.

C is for curiosity. I can forgive my students a lot if they are trying really hard to figure something out, learn something new to them, push some envelope. I hope I never cease to be curious.

C is for character. That thing that people have or not have. Not much middle ground here.

Cosmic Cantina in Durham, North Carolina serves the fattest and most awesome bean burritos under the sun!

Sleep tight, comrades. See ya tomorrow.
