Had a walk up The Moor in Sheffield at lunchtme. I worked in the area for the best part of 17 years and like to have a look around now and again to see how it's changing.
The Moor was once the hub of Sheffield's retail. Today it is a shadow of its former self with half of the shops demolished to make way for a planned indoor market. Many other shops have closed. It could be said that city centre developers have done more damage to The Moor than the Luftwaffe!
A lot of art has appeared on The Moor recently to make it look a little nicer during the re-development. This spray painting of local rockers Def Leppard has appeared on the shutter of one of the closed shops.
Today's blip could only have one title today, in honour of one of Def Leppard's earlier hits - Photograph
