Mum and the Kids.

The little 'uns are really starting to grow now. I may be wrong, but I reckon that they are beginning to less like fluffy ducks, and more like swans, because their necks seem to be getting longer at an alarming rate. It reminds me of the growth spurts my, then, teenage sons went through - although their necks didn't get as long a s a swan.
I was wondering if cygnets actually have wings. Since I've been watching them I've never seen them stretch or extend their wings - perhaps they're stuck down.

Benek was wondering how I managed to get the light looking so good. The thing is that this pond is surrounded by trees, and in the evenings you can get patches of both bright sunlight or deep shadow all at the same time. I just have to wait until they float into the correct position to get the lighting effect I need.
The little buggers see me coming now, and instantly make for the centre of the pond, so the close-ups have to be further away. Some bread is needed - sweetcorn just sinks without a trace.

Sorry for the rambling. Busy busy busy.
