March, Cannon Street, London

This morning the student march started at 7am in Bishopsgate the road I work in but I didn't get to London early enough and this was all I caught the tail end of them heading down Cannon Street towards St. Paul's. At first I thought it was the students but now I don't think it is must be something for more wages I think and I'm sure they met up with the students eventually!

I'm probably speaking out of turn - I'm all for free education (and our system is a good one) until a child leaves mainstream school but then its only fair that university fees are paid by those who attend, yes the fees have increased but so has the costs of running the universities including the teachers wages. My brother is already saving money for my nephews and has been for several years so that hopefully they will both attend and be able to leave debt free - its hard for them but he believes that if possible the parents should be providing the funds.
