Bright lights and the big city

I went to see Alan today, my uncle/grandfather figure. He lives in Whitchurch, so after a 35 minute walk in the rain nothing was more welcoming than curling up in front of his log fire with a big mug of tea!

We had a good long natter about everything from Burlusconi to beef pasties, and I headed back to my house feeling content and ready to face (you guessed it) more coursework. It's okay though; I found the Beauty And The Beast soundtrack on Spotify earlier so at least I have good music to motivate me!
