Work on the rotten joists started in the cellar this morning. Good job my Dad was coming over, as I needed to move the contents of this front room into the back room a lot earlier in the day than I'd been told.

Parts of the floor boards were also rotten...but I worry not. It's taken a year for me to get to this stage and I'm so excited it's finally happening!! (far more excited than the kids at this view from the front room down into the cellar anyway!)
