Riverside Museum

A day over in Glasgow and the chance to visit the latest addition to the Clyde's urban cityscape - Riverside Museum

Put simply, it's a stunning architectural masterpiece, designed by Zaha Hadid (who's also designed the Maggie's Centre in Kirkcaldy, and the London 2012 Aquatics Centre .)

Inside, it's an vast, airy space, crammed full of nostalgia,imaginatively interpreted and easily accessible.

It's certainly got the seal of approval from visitors of a certain age arriving coach after coach...

I'm not so keen on the lime green colour colour scheme for the walls and ceiling - all a little clinical for my liking - but a world class museum that's free gets my vote any day!
