Fearless

Took the children down to Barricane beach today, our favourite place in Woolacombe. We rock pooled, shell hunted and climbed the rocks (well I didn't climb), it was great fun. Erin showed herself to be a fearless and very good climber. As the picture showed she decided that the best way to get down was to just jump!! This had to be repeated over and over until Daddy had enough, Erin I think would have just kept going.
This evening was the final of the adult talent contest. There were some amazing singers in it, quite daunting and very nerve wracking. They had Chiko as a celebrity judge. After judging he performed 3 songs, the guy really cannot sing but is a great entertainer and amazing with the kids. A real positive and all round nice guy it seems. So my thoughts that he is just a prat have been changed slightly. Darren and I came in the top 6 out of 20 so pleased with ourselves. Apparently 1st to 6th was only seperated each time by 1 point so a very close thing. Shattered at the end of the night and the children had each fallen asleep in the club. Cue Mummy guilt!!
