THUNDERBIRD
These little beggars woke the baby up this morning making a total racket.
After about 40 shots I managed to get this... a little blurry but he was a long way away and had to crop tightly.....also they are black.
However I feel very honored to of got this as it's very unusual that they come so close.I was very determined to get a reasonable pic to share.........they are very very lovely birds.
As you can see they love stripping the bark from trees and this one was having a really good munch.
We call these Black Cockatoos Thunderbirds 'cause when they fly over screeching (in between Eagle and Peacock sound) It usually means rain especially if it's in the morning. It always feels like a blessing to have them fly over the house and land.
