8:30

centre of it all

8:30 am and I was out walking the dogs. It was mostly drizzly, but not cold. Shorts back on after yesterday's temperature plummet.

A fun morning of cycling to get the dogs, walking them, home to do some work and prep for school workshop, deliver said workshop, home for work/lunch/work, prep for next workshop, deliver next workshop, home to Hoover, take delivery of new tyres, prep diary for the next six weeks, dinner, washing, Homegroup, clear iPad of non-essential apps and content, and now blip.

Seems like a lot of today was spent preparing for future events. Which is cool. As another chunk of the day was spent building on previous prep.

Like the spider web I saw at 8:30 this morning when walking the dogs. It's only there because of ground work laid before it.

If we really stretch the thought then the spider was only able to build a web there because someone designed the car mirror.

And so it goes on.

But I guess there's a truth there. All we see and do now is built on what others have done in the past.

Something that is quite pertinent given that Remembrance Sunday is approaching.
