Guard slug

Some people get a guard dog, no need for that at Crafty Towers. No intruder would want to cross the line of slime and the row of slugs at the front door.

Shouldn't these pests be in hiding for the winter by now? How do they manage to survive the cold weather? Have any of the Attenborough's ever made a programme about slugs? So many questions.........
