Setting Suns

In the afternoon, we took a drive to Mallaig, along the Road to the Isles. The weather was a perfect calm, and any lochs we passed shone like mirrors.

Just a bit past the Glenfinnan Monument, as the road passed Loch Eilt, I was struck by the double sunset. In the sky, the real sun was dropping behind the hills while its reflection in the Loch was also disappearing into the darkness.
