A fascinating gift sent to me from Phil, my newly discovered 2nd cousin once removed, who has written this fine book and produced a CD version, relating the adventures of his father John and his comrades in arms in the Australian Army.

John, originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, married my 2nd cousin Winifred, born in Australia but to parents from my home town, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
