The RTÉ camera truck has been an almost constant sight every night on my way to the station. I presume at this stage they must own the street corner...

The edifice opposite - which will be the backdrop for the OB - is our beloved Government Buildings. The bit on the left is the Department of Finance, who's latest master stroke was to find ?3.6b in change down the back of the sofa! To put it in context, that's about 5% of what propping up incompetent bankers and idiotic property developers is costing.

I assume the cameras are there for further developments on the latest bright idea from the civil service - appoint the idiot who mislaid the cash, despite frequent reminders to check the accounts for double entries, to advise the EU on how to manage their money!
