A step into the future...
Larger leaf...
Woke up this morning after the soundest sleep in weeks. That took me by surprise!
Once Alan was off to school and D to work, I was left to my own devices. Quick tidy up and a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of ironing done.
Ele mentioned yesterday about us going out for lunch today so texted her to see if that was still on and it was. Picked her up and we headed off to Huntershill Village in Bishopbriggs, where we had a lovely lunch (including iced ginger bread, empire biscuit and strawberry tart!!!). Wandered in the gift shop afterwards and bought a couple of stocking filler Christmas pressies, so I can now say I have officially started my Christmas shopping.
Also treated myself to a little pressie....a vintage 3-tiered cake plate. Just couldn't resist :-))
Stopped at Broadwood loch on the way home to try and capture a blip but it was too grey and miserable and the light was awful. Had to resort to blipping an autumn leaf again!
Alan's home, D's on his way, dinner is cooking and back to work tomorrow. It feels so nice to be back in the normal routine.
Thank you again my lovely blip friends, for all your kindness, support and lovely comments over the last, very difficult 10 days. It is so much appreciated. You are a very special bunch indeed! xxxx
And a special hello and thanks to those who have subscribed to my journal over the past week and who I haven't even acknowledged. I hope to do so VERY soon.
Happy Tuesday you wonderful people! :-)) xxx
