Past and Future.

Had to go to Leeds this morning.Dull grey day but in town the bright shops make the weather brighter.

This is a photo of two halves.

On the right the steeple of Holy Trinity Church built 1722-7 but the steeple dates from 1839. ( previous one blew down) Grade I listed and is now an arts centre.

Behind it you can just see the roof of the new Trinity Leeds shopping centre, which is due to open Spring 2013. and one of the huge cranes.

I love the mix of old Leeds and new, but not quite sure how this is going to look. Will have to see when it is finished.
