The Haar Has Arrived To Eat Your Sun
Today was foggy, very foggy or as we say the haar was in. Haar is an old Scottish (East Coast) word for sea fog and is all enveloping - it is the most pirate sounding of all words known to the English dictionary.
Being close to the Firth of Tay it consumed us and little sunlight was seen during the day - this was about the best.
I had taken this picture to keep my friends updated as I was meant to be heading to Perth for the football - but knew there was a great risk of the game being called off. Eventually at 5pm it was called off for the then the haar to leave and leave a mist and a very cold night.
