Morning from Hell

Most natural diet dogs just don't get bladder infections like processed food fed dogs. Raw diets are more Ph balanced to dogs where processed food diets tend to be too alkaline and do not have the right amount of enzymes or amino acids for dogs that they would get from raw meat. I have enjoyed the lack of ear and bladder infections in my dogs because of their diet - with the exception of India the Newf.

That little (and I use that word loosely) so and so gets them in her heat cycle. It starts with obsessive licking. Usually a dose of cantharis (homeopathy) or apis does the trick - but with her it can be a sticky wicket and it doesn't take much for her to go into a full blown bladder infection. Did I mention usually when I've been up part of the night, not had enough sleep and then at 5 AM she has to go pee every five minutes and I need to be up to be somewhere for an appointment I cannot cancel..... Yeah - like today. <sigh>

Up half the night with my own issues then the 5 AM battle cry from the newf and we walked up and down the driveway over and over. i do keep an emergency prescription f antibiotics on hand - hate that she has to have them but nothing else works with her - the exception to every rule dog that she is.

Have I mentioned that I love my animals dearly? Well I do - but beyond this household of cats and dogs now this is it. no more pets for me. I could have downsized ages ago and been a little more financially secure instead of needing the space and the foods and time for these guys. Yup - love them and then that's it.

Ming included. Every time I tried to get five minutes rest, there she was ready to jump on my chest, lick my face then use me as a springboard to jump off. Little sh--
