Visit to the Wirral
I took this image on a walk at Meols on the Wirral when I went back to visit my Mother's grave - I decided to have a walk before heading home as it was starting to get dark. On the sea front there is a large embankment and when the tide goes out it leaves huge puddles which th ebirds fish in. I caught a couple of herons and a White Egret fishing quite close to the embankment and managed to get a few shots of them - light was going rapidly so the colours are a bit dull.
I sat there for ages waiting to get a shot of one of the with a fish but they didn't oblige unless they were out of range!
