Reverse thrust

Tern (Arctic or Common?) putting the brakes on.
Magnificent little birds so fragile looking but they plunge into the sea at great speed and come up with little fish.
This guy was putting on a show as we were walking within 50 feet of where he wanted to nest.
Shetland is bleak and windy but so full of wildlife and interest.
