Those spirals are engraved on a big stone in front of the holy monument in Newgrange, built more than 5000 years ago.
There are different interpretations about the meaning; the three nearby counties, the three different stages of the life circle: birth, death, re-birth...
Shall everyone visiting this incredibly touching place have his own; he will be right!
