Pokey stick

This tree pokes me most days as I walk to and from work if I go by the road.

Only now having been poked do I notice these flowers and this strange stellar fruit.

We have no idea what it is, Anyone out there?

So now I can't wish for the tree to be cut down.I just have to be more careful in future. Maybe we can save the rainforests with the same argument?
