Military parade

Today was the 70th anniversary of the day the Soviet Union repelled Nazi forces, who marched on Moscow as parades were underway to mark the anniversary of the revolution. Stalin decided to let the parades continue, but to send the troops through Red Square and straight on to the front from there. Today, the parades were reenacted. Entrance was by invitation only, but we watched soldiers preparing outside the square, and peered in on the event from nearby shop windows.
