Korean figures

This cute couple was left as a token by visiting Korean archivists who cam to The National Archives a few years ago - they just caught my eye tonight. I think the girl is supposed to stand to the right of the boy so that she is looking at him out of the corner of her eyes - but I prefer it this way round - she's seen something off in the other direction, while he reaches for his little sword to get ready for whatever it is...
