The Scott Monument to Edinburgh locals. I think I'm right in thinking it's the tallest monument to any writer and opposite the oldest department store in the world (Jenners - bathing in pink floodlights this evening).

Got this and some other shots on the way home from work. No time for foraging around in the glorious sunshine today.
