Mittens

Inexplicably I can't find any gloves or mittens to fit Alexander; they're either too big or too small. So I had to make him some from some worn out ones of mine. As you see, they have the obligatory elastic to run through his sleeves.

Just as well, because it was freezing today, foggy and gloomy, apart from a bit at lunchtime. It wasn't helped by there being a powercut this morning and the heating not coming on. We stayed in bed and then we didn't go out because we both have a cold.

It was nice though, because I'm going away for work for a few days tomorrow. It's the first time I've left Alexander. Not sure whether I'm excited or sad....
